much is spoken today about making more things here in the uk. it is not just an economic benefit but it is the dignity, real skills and sense of purpose that making can bring to all those engaged in producing articles of aesthetic and enduring quality. it benefits families and communities to have makers amongst them with that sense of purpose and feeling that making brings. it goes without saying that making things locally must be good for the environment. so much resource wasted in shipping materials and products round and round the world. every year we turn out a large number of wonderful textile and creative graduates who struggle to find makers in this country who can turn their creativity into products. so much talent wasted. for over 25 years we have been making bespoke hand tufted rugs. we are an employee owned company which in itself is a model that could bring more success and well being to employees all over the uk. we are not looking for favours but at least consider us. it is a bespoke service so we can offer any colour(s), sizes, shapes and designs. to help we have a box of samples in white just to illustrate the range of constructions we can offer. this can be ordered at no cost from our web site.
