bridgestone business services costa rica was established on october 1, 2012. today, we have a team of more than 500 teammates, who work to bring more and better services to all bridgestone americas. at bbs, we promote a diversity, equity, and inclusive culture where all our teammates are free to be. align to this, 60% of the leadership positions are covered by women. for ten years, new operations have been introduced to strengthen a strategic and integrated support in finance and human resources operations delivery. our order to cash, procure to pay and record to report departments support the manufacturing plants across mexico, costa rica, colombia, argentina, chile, brazil, and the united states. in addition, we house the hire to retire department, which is responsible for processing benefits, hiring and retirement for all teammates in the united states, as well as the payroll processes for costa rica, colombia, mexico, brazil, and argentina. as part our business culture, we work under continuous improvement, integration, standardization, and operational excellence parameters through which our teammates propose efficiencies to the processes they execute. thanks to these standards, over the past ten years, we have received 15 recognitions from organizations such as chamber of industries, who has recognized bbs costa rica with the excellence award for seven consecutive years. in 2018, we obtained the silver medallion from the shingo institute, because of our high-quality environment and culture, as well as three great place to work awards. in 2020 and 2021, bbs costa rica was recognized for best employer for young people by efy. finally, the organization was certified by bandera azul ecologica in 2019, 2020 and 2021 for good environmental practices.
